Low-Intervention Wines.

Sustainably Grown. Wild-Ferments: Always.
Filtered: Never.

  • Grapes Grown Well

We use low-intervention practices in the vineyard and cellar. Since 2018 we have employed primarily organic and regenerative practices to build soil health and aid biodiversity. Growers we work with share this passion equally.

  • Vintage- & Vineyard-Specific

We love terroir and believe this is comprised of a combination of site, climate and soils as well as vineyard and cellar practices. Our grapes are hand-picked and hand-processed, respecting the skill of the grower. We want showcase each vineyard or each vintage in unadulterated, delicious form.

  • 100% Wild Ferments. Zero Filtering.

Wild, non-select yeasts ferment our wines and we guide them with as little intervention as possible. We don’t use ‘corrections’ such as enzymes, tannins, or colours. Sulphurs or zero to low. All our wines remain unfiltered and whole.

Terroir.

We are situated in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. Situated in the north shore of Lake Ontario, we work with our vines, those of neighbours, as well as growers on the south side of the lake. Each share the passion to grow great grapes and be good stewards of the land.

Craft.

It’s not ALL about rocks. It’s also about healthy, living soils and microbes, insects and yeasts. We strive for balance. Natural yeasts are complex and interesting — we embrace their idiosyncracies. We like wines with texture, tension, a long finish and great acid structure.
